Self-Declaration Committing to FSC Values
Hangzhou Betula Technology Co., Ltd is associated with the Forest Stewardship Council A.C., Oaxaca, Mexico, or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates (hereinafter: FSC®) by being either a member of or having a contractual relationship with FSC.
Hangzhou Betula Technology Co., Ltd has read and understood the “Policy for the Association of Organizations with FSC” as published under http://www.fsc.org/. This policy stipulates FSC’s position with regards to unacceptable activities by organizations and individuals which already are or would like to be associated with FSC as well as the mechanism for disassociation.
In light of the above, Hangzhou Betula Technology Co., Ltd explicitly agrees currently and in the future, as long as the relationship with FSC exists, not to be directly or indirectly involved in the following unacceptable activities:
a) Illegal logging or the trade in illegal wood or forest products.
b) Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations.
c) Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations.
d) Significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest use.
e) Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations.
f) Violation of any of the ILO Core Conventions as defined in the ILO Declaration on
Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

FSC Core Labour Requirements Policy Statement
Hangzhou Betula Technology Co., Ltd ensures that its operations comply with all core labor requirements of FSC. These include:
1. Prohibition of child labor.
2. Prohibition of all forms of forced labor:
2.1 We do not restrict workers, withhold wages or due payments, nor retain passports or identity documents;
2.2 All employees are recruited to the position and are guaranteed wages that are not lower than the minimum wage standards determined by national and provincial authorities;
2.3 All employees are verified and entitled to live and work in China according to the relevant visas, residency rights, or citizenship status.
3. Ensuring our workplace is free from all forms of discrimination:
3.1 We strive for a diverse workforce in terms of age, race, gender, and other characteristics;
3.2 In recruiting for positions, we select candidates that are best suited for the job without discrimination;
3.3 We ensure that all employees have equal opportunities to apply for other internal positions, promotions, pay raises, and advancements;
3.4 We maintain a strict anti-discrimination policy in accordance with Chinese law.
4. Allowing workers to exercise the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining within the framework of Chinese law.
In all respects, we implement the highest requirements in our operations – whether it's Chinese law or FSC standards. To ensure compliance, we have completed self-assessments and retain records to prove compliance. Then, our certification body conducts an independent audit of the implementation of our commitments annually.

Anti-Discrimination Policy
Hangzhou Betula Technology Co., Ltd is an "equal opportunity employer." Hangzhou Betula Technology Co., Ltd will not discriminate and will take "affirmative action" measures to ensure against discrimination in employment, recruitment, advertisements for employment, compensation, termination, upgrading, promotions, and other conditions of employment against any employee or job applicant on the bases of race, creed, colour, national origin, or sex.
Hangzhou Betula Technology Co., Ltd is committed in all areas to providing a work environment that is free from harassment. Harassment based upon an individual's sex, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, religion or any other legally protected characteristics will not be tolerated. All employees, including supervisors and other management personnel, are expected and required to abide by this policy. No person will be adversely affected in employment with Hangzhou Betula Technology Co., Ltd as a result of bringing complaints of unlawful harassment.
Sexual harassment is behaviour of a sexual nature that is unwelcome and offensive to the person or persons it is targeted toward. Examples of harassing behaviour may include unwanted physical contact, foul language of an offensive sexual nature, sexual propositions, sexual jokes or remarks, obscene gestures, and displays of pornographic or sexually explicit pictures, drawings, or caricatures. Use of the employer's computer system for the purpose of viewing, displaying, or disseminating material that is sexual in nature may also constitute harassing behaviour.
If an employee feels that he or she has been harassed on the basis of his or her sex, race, national origin, ethnic background, or any other legally protected characteristic they should immediately report the matter to his or her supervisor. If that person is not available, or if the employee feels it would be unproductive to inform that person, the employee should immediately contact that supervisor's superior or human resources. Once the matter has been reported it will be promptly investigated and any necessary corrective action will be taken where appropriate. All complaints of unlawful harassment will be handled in as discreet and confidential a manner as is possible under the circumstances.
The procedure for reporting incidents of harassing behaviour is not intended to impair, replace, or limit the right of any employee to seek a remedy under available Australian law by immediately reporting the matter to the appropriate Australian Government agency.
